least from my past experience, from 240 "attendees" only 10% show up
at the very time of webinar.
It would have been interesting, as it is a technology with high disruptive
potential. Possible benefits, but also a huge amount of drawbacks and danger in
many forms. Besides, there is not even a good definition, and everything that
has more than two algorithms is labelled an "AI" these days.

Today (241122) one week after the “Leaving of LIVERPOOL” (Folksy footy song) I went on the bus from the “open REFUGEE camp” … to town… walking through “OUR FAIR CITY” >>> … my legs started wobbling, as if I had been on the Ale all night! …
Some shooting pains, & it reminded me how the 2 doctors at Mater, sped past my list of symptoms, and minimalized the (non existent, after all) “Treatment” …
I was “day dreaming” asking myself in my thoughts if the “rumours” of my IRISH birth are true…??????
Was I indeed the SON of a shamed girl of a rich catholic Irish family, who became pregnant, & gave this baby to a nice couple, Bill & “Pat” (Nancy) SMITH, much beloved, whom I simply called “Mum & Dad”…
I always LOOKED, acted & FELT “Different” to the rest of my SMITH family…although I know THEY loved me..and brought me to adolescence in a GOOD way..!
Mum explained daily life problems to me, as if I WAS ADULT!
And…I think how friendly Mark the bus driver was & is to me.. (will join his Saturday walkers tomorrow morning)… his friend Kevin coaches the local youth team , must have a look there….
I took off the RING… and went looking for the pawn shop.. I wanted to get a little present for “Nurse Maryann” of the Mater A & E reception staff… who gave me support & …food during those 6 days of waiting… no food service there …
It has gone… and the “help centre” at Merchant quay seems to be a “drug addicts haunt! “ from dealing with the “Embassie” regulars… its no fun ..because they don’t even see you when they / alcoholics are “GONE”..!
Whilst looking for the (Henry street) Central Library a lass stopped me (Naomi, claiming it was her birthday..) to tell me about her “Dog initiative” ..she asked “do you like Dogs?” and, as I replied “not even with chips” she (USAmerican?) was “insulted” ,,,I said “I am joking” I love all animals even the 2 legged ones…
I sang her “happy birthday” instead of the 20 euros she was hoping for… me , I haven’t even got 20 cents! .. some reason for hocking the ring… don’t know what its worth…
Anyway came back on the “Free bus” and will try again Monday but a bit depressed that I didn’t have some cash to buy Maryann a present of go watch the lads Sunday afternoon in a pub with LIVERPOOL-Irish atmosphere…

I explained that I am new ..then I continued my exploration, and by chance came to be outside the office door with your email address on it... & was writing this on a piece of paper (yes, I am old school) when another security guard appeared & told me this is a private building, I laughed & said "yes I am a resident, arrived today" ,,,
then the other guard arrived and they ESCORTED me to the entrance to check my access card & my blue card... I felt harassed & told them so!
is it my skin colour or age that causes this prejudice? because as far as I know none of the other arrivals had been interrogated...

· I have proposed that the Dublin based members of the global “InterNations Org” are invited to Balseskin ..I SUGGEST that a 2-part presentation of the actual status & opinions of applicants maybe be presented to visitors (InterNations members are typically working in the offices of International companies & embassies, over 4 million members worldwide) …by the presenters of “are we human” (book) & Suzan who educates on the “IPO procedures etc) if time permits applicants could also add their comments with “questions from visitors) I do not SEEK to be involved & Prefer to remain “behind the scene” ..i feel that the “general public” are at the mercy of main stream media in terms of the status of those who are applying for INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION!
· One of the most attractive aspects of Celtic, Irish, or indeed the Liverpool community of my youth was/is social engagement, & for example the “intro” to the Bank of Ireland brochure…”the Hellos etc” that people take notice of each other, exchange greetings & seem to care if you are “ok” its not just being polite, so I SUGGEST that mobile phones are excluded from canteen (meal times) or other gatherings.. those who truly intend to join the Irish community should begin to engage in this culture, whilst they are at Balseskin, for me, its as IMPORTANT as other aspects of the Balseskin programme!

Key aspects’
· The use of the “legal nuclear weapon” < anton piller mareva injunction > to destroy my group of companies in 1986 as I was competing with their “establishment”..
· After rebuilding my career, & initiating a major (Euopean, not UK/USA) communications & security network between 1987-1995 I was poisoned in Kiev, surprisingly recovered from a week in COMA, but then “dropped out” ..whilst the USA BOUGHT the Ukrainian politicians involved & the technology & network absolved into what is now common “multi-media”
· Between 1995-2000 whilst recovering I received numerous death threats should I attempt to claim my intellectual property rights..
· In May 2000 I formed my *F & U n.g.o. which aims to provide community services, youth initiatives, Equality campaigns & evolution of the individual & native culture
· Between 1992 and 2005 my relatives; both parents, wife, sister, son died in unexplained circumstances & 2 older brothers disappeared.
· During my residence in B.R.D until 2006 I filed no less than 54 complaints at the E.C.H.R (Strasbourg) Versus judges, police, attorneys & “beamte” after 12 years of “process” *and numerous arrests for “detention & investigation” (despite a “case number” & complaints to their “ombudsman” for obvious disruption & delays) the claims were eventually dismissed for “technical reasons”…
· I lived for a while in Alsace & in the Netherlands/Belgium with some problems too.. once “identified”… Internet café (servers) often “crashed” after I used their computers online..
· I took an offer to go to Ghana , as volunteer, to make a new identity, a new start & manage a school sports dept & part time English teacher. But on the way, (I drove direction mediteranean via Bucharest) I was informed that the Ghana administrators were restricting “volunteers” ..so I stayed in the Balkans..
· I was invited by contacts I had in football to stay in Podgorica (Montenegro) ..and I started to make a new life, some minor obstacles but mostly my NGO was becoming known as I hosted backpackers & mixed with the locals…
· Until MNE joined NATO & since then I have (despite always paying rent in advance) been locked out, ROBBED & evicted from 5 different properties (with or without contracts, including a house I was BUYING) I was cowardly attacked 3 times, however none of my 350 visitors had such experiences during that time..
· In July last year, I returned to my latest home to find almost all my belongings, clothes, furniture, emotional souvenirs, and a briefcase with vital documents & claim files ALL STOLEN, by 2 policemen, I reported this to the local Police chief, who was then himself arrested for Fraud!
· I was blocked by my local bank (CKB) & had to live on whatever cash I had on me or on the domestic account. I have had no income/funds since 15 months!
· I complained to all but as a self-declared “stateless” person, no one assisted me, so I wrote a provocative email to all “concerned”… the 2 huge THUGS from police HQ arrived next day & said “you are not under arrest, but come with us”…
· After several hours interrogation at their HQ they took me to their immigration colleagues… & after more questions left me in a room at the train station, with no bed, cold (I was wearing a t-shirt) & no covers, overnight for NINE hours, no food or drink.
· Without forensic translation a local magistrate ordered me to the “Asylum centre” (Razor wire & armed guards) mid July this year… the BRITISH “pro consul” promised a “deal” to provide me with ID if I accepted a “virtual deportation” & would help me get some cash from my local bank. (transfers IN had been “frozen”…
· Despite my agreement to come to Ireland, they “deported me” to UK, and the copy document they promised with be acceptable as ID was useless, furthermore when I obtained a copy of my (stolen) birth certificate (to use as ID) it was declared as INVALID..
· However, after getting sick (bacterial infection) working at a hostel to pay for bed & food (& ferry ticket escape) I am now recovering & processing my claim..
· REPORTING was/is part of my daily life, and I would like to join RSF as a co-operative (freelance) partner as my experience & the cases I know in the last 29 years are invaluable.
However, I may be too “hot” for your group, as I know many “classified” aspects of the “western governments” & whilst my own situation may well come under threat again… I wish to support your aims & activities too!

I am at “Balseskin” reception centre , Finglas, awaiting the outcome of my I.P.O application…& apart from the 30 page initial application have provided over 100 files of data to support this, and have 1000’s of emails , if required to claim “systematic profiling” ..the key issues caused by “alienation” by the English government, establishment , its officials, employees, agents & allied states (a.k. After dinner, I decided to look around to check where "everything is" as Kelly told me I am free to roam, my level (3rd floor ) ground floor & basement...
so after eating < i checked the lounge, but someone else was using the pool table, and as the TV sound was off , I noticed on the plan that there was another TV room (?)

just outside the "games room" a security guard stopped me, asking "are you ok?" in a way that seemed strange, I said yes & we exchanged names. .. I explained that I am new ..then I continued my exploration, and by chance came to be outside the office door with your email address on it... & was writing this on a piece of paper (yes, I am old school) when another security guard appeared & told me this is a private building, I laughed & said "yes I am a resident, arrived today" ,,,
then the other guard arrived and they ESCORTED me to the entrance to check my access card & my blue card... I felt harassed & told them so!
is it my skin colour or age (or both) that causes this prejudice? because as far as I know none of the other arrivals had been interrogated...

I was told to go to Intreo (Parnell st) then they told me to to Nth Cumberland st. (Dept of Social protection) who sent your office a copy of the transfer notice.
Please advise me the local post office to east wall, where I may collect allowance in future

On reflection, I thank you both for taking the time to explain the circumstances to me, today is an emotional anniversary for me, and perhaps I wasn’t clear about my opinion.
After 40 years (without going into details) of “systematic profiling” (the reasons I escaped to EIRE)
The “incident” will obviously seem (factually) mild by comparison with many obstacles in my past.
Perhaps my initial time at Balseskin “relaxed” me, after an very intense period of an intense life.. to be “checked” 3 times, plus some admirative complications, in my “new home” caught me by surprise…
However, I take what you both stated on your word, but 29 years in virtual opposition to the state apparatus have made it difficult for me to switch off , after supporting so many other refugees & such , & sit back & be “my own case” and yet I have always done my utmost to channel energies in positive aspects, as founding manager of my (“F & U”) n.g.o. ( see attached ) I had the chance this evening to have a chat with Alan at the quiz & hope that I can get involved in the new year…

Dear Shane,
We met briefly Friday morning when I passed the CCC leaflet & flyer to you, by hand, this is a follow-up as suggested, Those who are refugees intending to remain in EIRE permanently also wish to “give back” so, it may seem “cheeky” to ask for sponsorship on top of the support we receive already from the Irish people.
Having grown up in Liverpool, “the 2nd capital of Ireland” the Celtic community of my youth was also warm & friendly, and although I have spent most of my life abroad, those ideals have never lost me. So, I shall offer my training/coaching talents to the local community for the age group 10 to 15 years old, “the LIVERPOOL way” as I did with youth in German, Dutch, Belgian, French & lately Montenegrin communities.
My erstwhile colleagues, here at “Gateway 2” (opened 2 years ago, here in East Wall) are co-operating with the “Cross-Culture” people (CCC) and there are already some aspects of “giving back” in evidence, I have no superior position, but I will certainly encourage new arrivals to do likewise.
My own PASSION is, of course, football, & I hope we can enter the < www.inter7s.com > league at the end of January, and my hope is to find sponsors for our “GreenREdCelts” squad & my ambitious aims are to have a team which represents the “Gateway 2 refugees” AND local community; 10 players, 5 refugees & 5 Dubliners as a bridge to the collective future.
