and what is footy..for & to ME?
Footy ; our street language name for FOOTBALL,# we never called it “soccer”
The familiar feeling, I get with football, playing, watching or managing/training. is because it IS the only aspect of my life that has been with me since the day I was able to kick a kiddies plastic ball…to now, and the HUNGER to play is BIG, if not bigger now than it ever was..
IF you offered me a night with the most beautiful young woman in the World OR a chance to play in a GOOD football team in a competitive friendly & enjoyable spirit… I would choose the latter
Family, gone, wife, sister, brother, son & daughter gone, career & vocations , locations too constantly changed..but football was always in my Life
When I was captain of the lads local amateur Team, I played at Centre back/sweeper/libero or central defending/holding midfield (the Quarterback role for their American version of rugby) to WIN the ball possession back from the opposing team & distribute, I almost always played it forwards, not like so many of the “pros” coach to “keep the ball” their “pass success rate is high because they pass the ball mostly side & backwards! 😊.. FOOTBALL (their “soccer”) then was physical and on heavy winter fields..
in all weathers, my speciality, apart from sliding tackles (later I converted to full back when I couldn’t train and therefore couldn’t play as well . due to missing sessions as business took me away from home,) I was able to SPRING (jump) high, higher than the opposing forwards who were often much bigger/taller ...
i would like to show this to kids, but all has been sabotaged, by either local idiots or the PLANdemic suspension of so many social activities I love... also , some fans think Klopp, the current Lfc coach discovered his form of counter-pressing... but in my time, as a player and supporter, I copied the "LIVERPOOL way" of Shanks & Bob's teams...
HOUNDING opponents into mistake and pushing them back (playing a high line, for offside) ..
we suppressed opponents pushed them back & back so the game (and the mistakes) were made in their half of the field...

Back in 190102... I was helping a “single mother” in Podgorica, with twin boys, whom, as often is the case she spoiled, in compensation for a mostly absent Dad…
“Hiy Dunja, i enjoyed this morning... hope the boys & girls did too... /” (I had taken them to training at FK Katun with their friends at my expense, as they were bored, during their holidays..)
Danilo & Dejan are different , Danilo has the obvious football talent (in goal or on the field,, the coach could play him in almost any position, and he would do something ... if he passes the ball at the right time...) :)
Dejan, well , this may surprise you, but IF he gets better coaching HE may become the most important player, he is (in my words) a "rough diamond" ... he reminds me of myself when I was very young, emotional- however I learned very quickly to channel my "energy & emotion" into my game,
unfortunately many modern professionals give bad examples, and coaches too....
it SHOULD be ILLegal for players to use their hands/arms to block an opponent. Or trip.. but referees allow it , even when the rules of the game are broken..
also, if they continue with me, learning passing, (that little exercise inside the box) is more important than almost anything... the team play together SIMPLY (pass & move) in the best teams..
I will also explain defence....
but I DO NOT teach cheating or fouling, because it is wrong, and wrong in life or in game,
they can play hard & strong, without fouling. I did , and I was captain of an adult team when i was a teenager... smaller than the others,... I like to see kids grow with positive character & mentality

In Podgorica, the locals , especially the EX pros, didn’t want me..it took 5 years of pushing myself into their “arena” to get tournaments, games, training and play also every Friday with locals & others , just for fun,,I aimed to help the kids whose parents didn’t have the cash for “soccer schools”..the schools did little, and the govt just focussec on tourism, ..ripping off the visitors ..and filling their coffers with cash
…black, grey or just dirty money, they didn’t care, they could always “wash it ..just look at all the new construction of apartments & hostels etc in Podgorica & at the coast, rents went from an average 200 e per month to 800!!

i like Juergen, I am a TRUE REd , and one of Shanks boys on the Kop when our support was truly REd and the Kop was socialist ... no one is comparable with him (Bill) ..but ... i respect Jk as a coach, motivational, his attitude to the media , players etc...
he has improved his in game management this season, but NO , not yet, in vital games, and finals, , he was unlucky.. but Rafa is a better strategust, its all conjecture BUT IMO with the same players to select , Rafa wins that game..

will encourage the mentality of a team community, as my mentor the GREAT SCot; who "made LIVERPOOL a global entity) Bill Shankly would put it...
I was also lucky enough some 8 years ago to meet and talk with Rafa Benitez, (when he was manager of Lfc) in the Netherlands
... and also study his training programme during their swiss summer training camp

saturday at 13.30h ? but there was a senior game..and I paid to join the local fans
but even though it was sunny, I felt unable to stay, so I dont know what happened with the kids, was there a mis-understanding? I got a call from Rank o, (I can’t phone out)
and we postponed the match until 8th November 18h, and Mirkos bus" is not available

Hiya Francis, i just feel the set up was wrong..for me the premiere is the priority, not even citeh could win both premiere and champions league in same season IMO, ..so i proposed a "fringe team" who strangely may have been more engaged than the lads who have played every game (Bobby has player 69 games since start of last season, )
i would have rested most of the "first team" because sticking Matip, who has played 5 mins of first team footy this season in at CB, means there is already a risk, and so it proved.. however there was some "bug" which prevented Clyne & Dejan travelling
..so my idea was anyway scuppered... the atmosphere should not affect Pros if they intend to win titles.. especially as the pitch is some distance from the crowd, although noisy. for me the plain aspect is
a) players playing a different system
b) key players a bit jaded and
c) a bit of complacency, and also
d) the home side (as on Saturday at the emirates; starting very strong,
a lot of fans talk about the techniques and want pretty dribbles and such, and forget that
1. you don’t win games if you can’t win the ball
and
2, to score goals you have to shoot! (N0 shots on target in first half...!)
anyway i would like Juergen to go back to the basic style of last season and hopefully play our best 11 on sunday.. because just maybe the mancs draw their derby and Lfc need to score a few goals and clean the slate...🙂 take care kidder, and thanks for your messages , much appreciated! it was "day of remembrance",,, when some remember the dead,,
well it seems most have trouble remembering the living.
too "busy" is the common excuse, but it just means their priorities are wrong..
anyway, this is a dark time, approaching...in a couple of weeks or so..
28th of November is the birthday of my estranged daughter Noela, she will be 14,
i dont even know if she is alive, as her mother stole her.. when she was almost 3.
..............and disappeared. she lied to the german state to get custody...and denied my existence.

anyway, on 1st December would have been the birthday of the Jacqui , my lovely wife who suffered from cancer before she left this earth 2005 ,,,…
and my son Adam,
who died in hospital in 1999 after they mistreated him from a drugs problem.....was born on 16th December,,,, my blame as I was somewhere else. And didn’t take enough care for them..
all those I loved have died, been stolen, or disappeared...
so, if you did NOT communicate with me before , I won’t want to communicate with "goodtime" facebook friends during my "dark time" ...I will be very creative and poetic , with irony,
but none of you will see or feel that... and yet, i suppose I will "celebrate" afterwards and join the hypocrisy of Xmas and your "new year" etc etc

- gender (girls football)
- new ideas
most importantly our local stadium ("San Siro" Spuz) should have been the venue for a new league
this seems to now be "on hold" since OUR participation in #football people
It seems we are being "punished" and my regular income is in danger.
Our Club (MonteREDS, which took over the previous casual T reds activities) has been cheated, too.
we have sponsored football participation for many kids who could not afford it, or without parents.
and our ideas of developing girls/ladies football will not happen if we are alienated.
where will we see all the international results of #footballpeople action weeks on the internet?
