Inter-nations = anti people?

 

Another NOT so secret agent .. SloDa Maet  is a member of the “internations.org”

I WAS not only a member , pre CORONA, but an “ambassador” & consul .. I was the most active of their organizers..

Because one of my favourite places to take visitors was SKADA lake, to join “kingfisher boats” tour, *( it took several years to negotiate down to 10 euros for a 2 hour trip)  when I first went there “Pelican” were charging UP from 25 euros an hour, obviously some of the western , even Russians didn’t mind paying that much!

It was nice to make the tour, on a sunny day and have a dip in the fresh water lake, off the boat, often, or sometimes they stopped at a beach , that we could swim from there instead, a juice, water, vino or even rakija offered during the tour..

I think all of my visitors appreciate that idea, especially as I would also often treat them to a fresh fish dinner at Selestia boat restaurant at Vir Pazar , afterwards

So apart from a couple of small events I hosted In Podgorica , in the summer of 2019  I got a “deal”..  from Pedja of Kingfisher, a 3 hour “picnic” with sandwiches, drinks & such, Internations members to pay 20e & their guests 25e.. I wasn’t  expecting to make profit, just to cover my costs..we had some music on the boat, moored in the lake, for swimming, and everyone seemed happy,  except 2 guests from the emirates embassy asked for the “reduced price” ..(when I consider their salary,,”don’t come again”///…

And my nearly neighbour Turkish Gonul & a few others came for a meal after, (at VP) a good time..

The other “main event” was at Perast Villa …  a glass of Vino, as welcome  & Sanja a singer, who has a wonderful voice and covers international & local tunes so well..to perform and dancing..WELL its “my party” so there MUST be dancing! …

That actually cost me a couple of hundred as I covered the Vino & stayed in the Hotel that night as I wanted to also enjoy the visit to Perast,,

So why didn’t I continue?, well, the 2 previous “ambassadors” one from USA, of course, had been absent, had not arranged any meeting since previous 3 or months, and didn’t attend the 2 events I did, were “on vacation”…

And..when I planned the next event , I think in September , to follow up the summer events, suddenly decided to re-appear with an event that clashed with mine,  I objected, but the HQ sided with the Yanker..so I complained and ..result…membership ended!

But SloDa joined and became consul, but there was NO promotion, post CORONA of social gatherings.. seemingly “killed off” by the bug-gers …

SM made a couple of events , poorly attended, and then took a sabbatical for 3 months for personal reasons, and was subsequently removed as “monty-consul”…  without discussion or explanation, I wrote to their chief, but he is protected from any challenge by his minions or more RONS! …

Now almost everything is ONLINE, which is ok, if it reduces travel & pollution, but NO social contact??? That’s not good…   and the trend is definitely tasting of USAcorp influence,

I am a mentor of SM , who wrote recently with regards to an event discussing BRICS..

(someone said BRICS is not well LED, or “planned” )

Was offline last night went out to dinner, AND focused on the “from local to GLOW-ball” initiative , informing new members , mail me if you wish to make more use of your member contacts,  or make your own local gathering , we can “twin “ with…no costs , no obligation, of course! Best wishes all!

stress is created by "lifestyle" when u start to balance your life, not driven by obsession to acquire property & material assets, then u may delete the stress factor, balance is made by giving as much as receiving. what do u give to your community,  ?  that's the key .. not "climbing on to a sinking titanic" enterprise should be enjoyable.. and benefit you & your community!

as I was involved in early multi-media development,,, seeing young, & not so young huddled around a café table, all communicating with remote users…I hope for better application of this tech  which has become a obsession or even addiction, people cant leave their mobiles alone, whereas many smile at me when I tell them I was all over the world BEFORE “handies” .. words are politics , and OUR brain has the capacity to communicate, as Aboriginees , without tech… this is my direction,, however I realise its “solo” 

these early evening events keep passing me by as I usually only get online with zoom after 19h at earliest  , i would only comment that positive attitude is important, but friends who only like u when u are "fun" are NOT your "friends",,, be honest above all!,,

=   I posted that I was travelling at this time, and would not participate. But it got deleted?  ... maybe anyway I would be a "Joker" at this event .. because I am currently re-writing/editing & adding to 50 chapters of a story & each chapter is like a "short story" in itself, plus I must have posted more than a 1000 blogs ,, each one similar to a "short story" ..i hope the event went well..>?

thanks again, Wessam, but overloaded with event invitations. I have my own opinion what "reality" is in midst of this global madness whilst we are stuck(?) on a big rugby ball spinning around in the middle of a universe, held down by "gravity" :) hope u all had fun, my connections are unstable whilst I am in the Montenegrin mountains, but I attempt every time.. !
