And why..NOT?

I am so MUCH against 24/7 mobile communications,,,???

I FEEL “guilty” because between 1988-1995 I was promoting the idea of mobile comms through MY “GemNET” initiative <with the aim to convert the former soviet defence satnetwork into a commercial enterprise connecting over 300 commercial companies in 45 countries with 500 online “intranet” services & products which would be delivered via a calendar driven PRO comms laptop costing only 200 dollars to deliver to a “captured” close-net market, but would have EVERYthing needed to win the world, is it any surprise that the “enemy” <a jealous USAcorp/NAzTO/c1a-mi6> would be inclined to poison me, ?

The clinic didn’t know, why I was in a coma from the going into easter weekend of 1995 at “De Panne” until 1 awoke in the intensive care of Verne KLINIK in the night of 21/22 April 1995, Meningitis c ould be the simple answer as apparently 15,000 kids had died of it, after being in a fever, as I was that same year,,, but.. ah BUT…,

Desperate people would kill you for your wallet, watch or purse!  A desperate USAcorp might even “allow” 9/11 ? allegedly… the germans staged a polish attack to cause ww2, even the romans NEEDED a Celts storming of Roma 380 years BC? Tyo justify  forming the first ever fully organized military/mercenary army which later ravaged Europe & committed a genocide on the Celts from the Balakns until Hadrians wall..

…And

now there is the damage to society, …I cringe when I see young people (and older) gathered around a table.. in a café , not connecting with each other, but with some renmote via their mobile phone, full of banal “information” they get over-loaded with such rubbish 24/7 this was NOT MY VISION.. I imagined the use of a “handy” <and 30 years ago I was accused of watching too much “Star Trek” for suggesting that everyone would have a hand held visual comms “phone”>  to be of BENEFIT to each individual AND the community, sharing knowledge and more local & global…

..and

The obsession with trend to have the latest “smart phone” which seems to be much “smarter” than the average user, people getting the latest, and telling their fake book buddies every banal incident in their daily routine, “twatting” with a “fast food” style of “language” abbreviating to their “M8” es avoiding any form of true CONVERSATION or exchange of ideals or ideals, instead insulting anyone “different” who may to suggest the users may be better off, if they actually stopped and considered their waste of life-time..?

…yes , sure, even as I write, I am on a mountain, with occasional wi-fi links.. but I travelling half this planet before GSP & mobile comms made “getting lost” almost impossible.. ,having said that, it was I who find the path for the wonder-cyclist I shared a great day with…I recall driver up to 1000kms a dfay across Europe, a breakfast, a lunchtime & an evening appointment on my schedule, not environmentally friendly, in my “previous life”… with an atlas in one hand , the steering wheel in my other hand, at top speed, being so pleased when my destination actually WAS where my map stated it should be,,, ha ha ha !  small pleasures of my cynical-optimist mentality!

And,,,

I am genuinely CONCERNED that kids of 5, 6, or 7 years old are given mobile phones to “keep them occupied: will never know the creativity of my youth, INVENTING games and stories between us , outside in fresh air, running and moving ourselves,, making go carts out of old prams. My dad made wooden swords for my friends & I, or we made castles, in the field from whatever we could find.. and I my room painting pictures from my dreams, of imaginary stories of spacemen & such... I loved to study books about generals & Strategy which became my profession as an adult.

I wonder if my know-how will ever get properly used again, before I leave this insane planet!
